Pliny Explains it All: The Historia Naturalis Abridged (Books I-II):
The creator goes through the first two Pliny books. Pliny books are an attempt by one man, Pliny the Elder, to write down everything he knew about the world. This is from the 1st centruy AD, and therefore a golden reserve of a snapshot of society from 2000 years ago.
A lot of the things from the books surprised me, mostly in a - I did not know that the ancient world had this accurate a model of the world. Certainly worth a watch, resulted in some significant updates.
